Mental Health Services
Evaluation and treatment services are aimed at improving the lives of individuals, as well as the well-being and safety of the community.
At this time I am only accepting clients seeking psychological evaluations. I am not accepting new therapy clients.

whether to grow,
it is how to grow

Are you trying to get control over your life? Do the same type of problems keep coming up? I enjoy both group and individual therapy with adults and older adolescents. I often work with clients to help them examine and change the choices they have been making, so they can start working towards a better future. The future starts now.
One of my focus areas is adults who have criminal backgrounds or are close to people with criminal backgrounds. More and more people find themselves in trouble with the law, which affects their families and loved ones.
In working with clients, I first seek to understand the person's perspective of the situation or problem. That individual's thoughts and perceptions have enormous power over the reality he or she lives with every day.
With teamwork and respect, goals can be set and plans can be put into action to help change that reality for the better. Interpersonal relationships, family, support systems, and coping skills are often relevant to a client's issues.
I primarily use cognitive-behavioral methods, while drawing on other schools of thought as appropriate to the client's needs. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practices (EBP) while recognizing that what works for many does not work for everyone.
